Guided by young leaders and p Read morerofessionals, its programmes have directly and indirectly impacted over 7 million young individuals since its inception. In India, these initiatives have spanned three decades, engaging with various partners from Government entities to businesses, with a primary focus on securing brighter prospects for young women and girls. As a non-profit global entity, its focus is on bolstering the collective strength of young leaders to foster a better world. Thousands receive annual training, mentorship, nurturing, and connections, empowering them to drive change. The commitment extends to actively transferring power to ensure every young person can contribute to creating a more equitable world. Operating with a feminist, inclusive, gender-transformative, and anti-racist stance, the organisation acknowledges and addresses barriers faced by diverse groups, striving to decolonise development. Impact areas encompass Education and Livelihoods, Gender and Sexual Rights, Voice and Democracy, and Climate Justice. STEM for Girls Programme
StateRestless Development India collaborates with Quest Alliance to promote equal opportunities for women and girls in 30 schools across Odisha. The initiative, conducted in selected Government Girls Secondary Schools, empowers girls with skills and confidence for STEM careers. The holistic approach combines digital literacy and coding training with life skills, gender awareness, and career guidance. Participants engage in conscious career planning, creating career cards and scratch projects, supported to attend career day events. Qualified facilitators ensure curriculum implementation, providing necessary resources and monitoring progress across districts, blocks, and clusters.

Youth Climate Action Lab Programme
The Youth Climate Action Lab, a youth-led movement in Urban Bengaluru, addresses the urgent challenges of climate change. As climate change poses a threat to the vision of a just and sustainable world, the initiative focuses on empowering young people impacted by the ongoing crisis. Over 36 months starting in November 2021, the movement aims to train, mobilize, and support 12 Young Climate Champions and 6 Youth Researchers. These champions will actively address climate change impacts, raise awareness, mobilize communities, and engage decision-makers to drive progress towards the state climate action plan in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Youth Let Accountability for Gender Equality
A coalition of youth-led organisations and partners has formed a Youth Collective to enhance youth representation and serve as a channel for sharing national findings globally, ensuring sustained advocacy for gender-equitable policy-making. Young volunteers in Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, and Jaipur undergo training as Youth Accountability Advocates. This training equips them with skills to hold the government accountable, covering data gathering, coalition building, campaign leadership, and advocating for transparency and change at local and national levels. The programme operates in collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Youth Collective Programme
Youth-led research has underscored the challenges confronting youth civil society, which possesses the skills and firsthand experiences to instigate genuine change but is frequently overlooked. The Youth Collective has been established to foster a global community for youth-led organizations. With approximately 4,000 youth groups worldwide, the collective facilitates support by disseminating funding opportunities, fostering connections and collaboration, enhancing visibility, and initiating dialogues with donors and funders to better bolster their efforts. The goal is to empower youth civil society not just to survive but to thrive and lead change in this crucial historical period.
