Leed Social Welfare Society

Leed Social Welfare Society is an NGO, nonprofit and nongovernmental organization operating in Madhya Pradesh. The organization was founded in 2008. Read more Our overall goal is the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalized communities leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods. Leed motive is " aiming to bridge the distance between people by providing opportunities to individuals to influence positive social change through an exchange of ideas, knowledge, skills and learning by facilitating volunteering in India‘s social development sector". Leed is empanelled with Pradhan Mantri Koushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY), Handicraft Department, Madhya Pradesh tribal department, MP CSR. Leed Social Welfare Society has its registered office in E-40, Mannipuram Society, CharImli, Bhopal  LEED operates its activities through field training centres located at Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur District. The maximum project of the organization operates by head office and main branch Office Bhopal MP. Altogether Leed has spread its activities in more than 3 districts beneficial influence about 600 beneficiaries in the year 2019. Amongst these beneficiaries, major groups are from the unorganized sector and are economically and socially disadvantaged. With these groups, LEED is operating a variety of development interventions in the field of livelihood promotion, education, community health care, women empowerment. We are also working in the area of: Vocational Training From 2008 to 2019, LEED has given tanning to about 1000 trainees, LEED has been providing tailoring, Beautician, cooking, computer training. Women Empowerment: The leed society mainly trains women and connects them to livelihood. The Last Year Society has trained about 550 women for different courses. Like stitching, computer course beautician Health Society has also made a lot of efforts regarding health care. Members and Volunteers provide free health camps in association with Hospital and Doctor. Drug and hygiene and sanitation Awareness Program The society also runs programs related to drugs user and hygiene such as street plays and rallies. We directly target the area where more awareness can be given such as slum and wine shop. Tribal Welfare Society is also very active for Tribal Welfare like we go to Tribal Area and give them Vermicompromised Training and tell them about new innovation in the agriculture sector. Education There is a lot of focus of the society on education, and there are many ongoing programs for hanging sanitation yoga and overall development for the children of the school, slum and other targeted areas. YOGA PROGRAM There are a lot of benefits of yoga. The Society promotes the benefits of yoga through free yoga classes given to schools and others in many places of Madhya Pradesh. Handicraft Training- The Society tells Artisan about the kind of product demand in the market through the Handicraft Artisan Awareness Program. The society also informs Artisan about what type of innovation is happening in the market.
