Institute for Rural Development (IRD) is a non-profit organization working in the field of Ecology and Environment in northern part of Karnataka and Read morebased at Vijaypur district. We have been mainly focusing on the afforestation, solid waste management, rural drinking water supply and sanitation, Biodiversity and bioenergy programs implementation with support of the various donors and Government departments.

IRD implements programs in solid waste management, biodiversity conservation, bio-energy, water and sanitation, women empowerment, and agricultural demonstration, collaborating with various government departments and organizations.
