PRAYAS

PRAYAS has supported education by providing study materials like books, notes, pens, and pencils to students in various schools. In 2017, they extended their assistance by covering tuition fees and supplying study materials to Rina Biswal. Moreover, in 2023, PRAYAS continued its commitment to education by distributing college books, notebooks, college kits, and covering tuition and readmission fees for PRAYAS students.

PRAYAS provided support and comfort to elderly and vulnerable individuals by distributing food materials to the elderly and orphans at Bishnupriya Balashram in Keonjhar in 2013. In subsequent years, they continued their mission by providing blankets, food, and sweaters to senior citizens in the Bharatpur slum, Adibasi pada, and other areas, particularly during the harsh winter months. These actions reflect PRAYAS's commitment to ensuring the well-being of the elderly and underserved populations.

PRAYAS has planted trees over the years, totalling 700 trees, across various schools and institutions in Bhubaneswar, such as Saraswati Sidhu Mandir, Sevashram School, AIIMS, Rental Colony High School, Sai Anandam school, and Beraboi village, with an additional 50 trees planted at Andharua village in 2023.

PRAYAS has assisted various communities during and after disasters over the years, including flood relief in 2011, aid for Cyclone Phailin victims in 2013, and support for Cyclone FANI-affected areas in 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they assisted a destitute widow and recently offered relief from a severe summer heatwave in 2023 by distributing Pana and cold water.
