Its primary focus is on preventing acid attacks, which it considers one of the most heinous crimes, especially against women. Drawing on extensive experience with victims, the foundation emphasizes the importance of prioritizing prevention and justice for victims of such violence. Through ongoing efforts such as counselling, medical care, legal education, and vocational training, it strives to support and empower survivors.

    The Brave Souls Foundation's shelter home, "Apna Ghar," was inaugurated on 2nd October 2021, marking a significant milestone in providing a haven for acid attack survivors. With the support of the Hon'ble Chairperson of DCW, Ms. Swati Maliwal, the initiative aims to offer refuge to survivors who have been ostracized by their families. Through the dedication of its founder, Ms. Shaheen Malik, Apna Ghar has been established in Delhi and Kolkata, providing transitional accommodation along with essential provisions such as food and travel expenses for medical treatments.
