  • Nirmal Chaya

    Nirmal Chaya, a women's collective supported by Mumkin Hai through Green India Company's social initiative, is situated in the serene Gamru Village, Dharamshala. With a clear mission to enhance the socio-economic standing of 20 women, the collective focuses on sustainable livelihoods and promotes eco-friendly practices. Specializing in upcycling tailor-made fabrics, Nirmal Chaya transforms discarded materials into high-quality, eco-conscious products. Through regular training sessions in knitting and sewing, the women are empowered to craft a diverse range of valuable resources, including cloth bags, masks, toys, baby sweaters, dog sweaters, and beds.

  • Environmental Programme

    Mumkin Hai Development prioritizes environmental conservation through various initiatives. Its reforestation projects aim to counter the annual 1.7% deforestation rate in the Himalayas, restoring green cover and habitats for wildlife. Community-driven waste management programs promote responsible disposal, reducing environmental degradation and health risks. River rejuvenation efforts involve extensive cleaning and sustainable water management to ensure clean water access and preserve the region's ecological integrity. Additionally, Mumkin focuses on renewable energy, deploying solar panels and small-scale hydroelectric projects to provide eco-friendly electricity to remote villages while preserving the local ecosystem.
