Ashiyana Communities Foundation's focus lies in establishing secure environments and nurturing constructive relationships within rehabilitation centre Read mores and children's homes. It is dedicated to empowering at-risk children and adolescents, facilitating their personal growth, fostering independence, and facilitating their reintegration into society. The term "Ashiyana" embodies the concept of a welcoming abode, signifying more than mere physical structures—it represents a sanctuary of safety, solace, and inclusion. Through a comprehensive approach involving stakeholders such as families and governmental bodies, the organisation assumes roles as facilitators, mentors, advocates, and champions of the aspirations of these children. By collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, including probation officers, administrators, educators, and law enforcement officials, Ashiyana tackles challenges and engages them in the transformative journey. Volunteer initiatives, awareness campaigns, and mentorship schemes humanise institutions, cultivating a network of positive role models to promote behavioural change. Ashiyana strives to establish a supportive network akin to a family for neglected children, challenging societal norms, and advocating for opportunities for redemption and equitable employment for children entangled in legal conflicts.

Reintegration Programme
Ashiyana's reintegration programme initiates within the institution and extends into society upon the children and youth's exit. While in the institution, they live within a structured environment receiving necessities. Leaving can be overwhelming, leading to anxiety and uncertainty about the future. The organisation provides a safe space, life skills, social-emotional learning, and opportunities for positive societal engagement. This intensive process requires patience, acceptance, and acknowledgement of potential setbacks. Ashiyana reinforces that these individuals are more than their circumstances. Projects include the Ashiyana Center, career guidance, job placement, socio-emotional and life skills, internships, mental health, education, and community gatherings and outings.

Inside Institutions Programme
Ashiyana's initiatives within institutions aim to create reflective spaces for children and young people, focusing on inner transformation. The Child Guidance Clinic addresses mental and emotional needs, offering a non-judgmental space to ease their stay. The organisation supports repatriation efforts, assisting children from neighbouring countries. The education programme encourages formal education engagement, providing tutoring and exam support. Inspiring Talks project brings role models to share life stories, and various activities like craft circles, dance classes, and Sunday Funday involve volunteers, promoting positive engagement. Health and hygiene efforts address children's unmet needs through clinics, camps, and support. Staff circles facilitate sharing and support among professionals.
