TERI has executed 177 projects across India with the objective of 'social transformation', including 43 ongoing grassroots initiatives, and has installed 134 units of Hybrid Solar Charging Units for Power Looms in Varanasi, resulting in a reduction of 484.81 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.

  • Programme LEAD (Leadership for Environment, Awareness and Development)

    State

    The Education for Youth Empowerment (EYE) Area of Environment Education and Awareness (EEA) Division at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has designed a summer programme that enables school students to gain knowledge, enhance their skillsets and obtain access to resources and networks to strengthen their competencies on issues related to environment and sustainable development.

  • Youth Climate Conclave

    State

    To foster a community of young innovators dedicated to crafting solutions that mitigate the effects of climate change, the 5th edition of the 'Youth Climate Conclave' (YCC) is being convened. YCC is being held under the India-EU Clean Energy and Climate Partnership (CECP) project, financed and managed by the Delegation of the European Union to India.
