About

  • Since

    2013

iSPIRT is a non-profit think tank that primarily employs volunteers from the tech industry who commit their time, effort, and knowledge to solve India Read more's challenging issues. It holds that the magnitude of India's difficult issues exceeds the capacity of any market participant, government agency, or think tank like ours. The entire society must work to solve these issues. We do our part to identify industry participants and governmental organisations who share our convictions and facilitate collaboration. Put practically, this implies that market participants develop enterprises on top of the digital public infrastructure that the government builds.

Cause Area

Programs

  • Policy

To provide ideas to government stakeholders, we draft policy recommendations. We inform, educate, and enlighten government officials and other policy bodies in our advocacy activities on the importance of a thriving software product industry for India's future. Through our Product Industry Monitor reports, we also offer objective statistics about the product industry to support policymaking. We consider trade associations like NASSCOM as leading the way in bringing our recommended policies to fruition, and we work to maintain a symbiotic relationship with them.

  • Playbooks

We turn talks into playbooks for business owners of products. Product firms require a distinct approach and set of guidelines from IT services organisations. Rather than only responding to consumer demands, they must anticipate them. They must develop intellectual property that will upend the market and brand themselves in radically innovative ways. Not fungible engineers, but deep technologists are what they need. And so forth. The arena for vital discussions about these topics among practitioners is the blog and community of ProductNation. We have pioneered small, intimate, and rigorous experiential learning programs, like the well-received Playbook Roundtables and #PNCamp.
