We at LARA are leading the change we want to see by rescuing and caring for the animals in need. It is a miserable life to be led on the streets. Maki Read moreng it worse is lying in the streets hurt, wounded, starving and uncared for. The cruelty of abandoning pets on the streets still continues and these helpless animals struggling to survive, end up severely injured with maggots eating away their flesh. LARA is an NGO that works round the clock to rescue, treat and rehabilitate these injured and/or lost animals. , our volunteers have been able to secure about 8 animals per day, on an average. These animals, mostly dogs, are picked up from the location identified, hospitalized, and treated. Depending on the case, the dogs are either put up for adoption or if a stray, then they are rehabilitated to their very own streets.

LARA's mission is to end the suffering of animals and provide compassionate care, while their vision is creating a world where animals are respected and protected.

LARA Animal Rights Trust celebrated milestones in rescuing and rehabilitating stray animals, and conducting awareness campaigns against animal cruelty.
