Programs

  • Mission MahaGram

Mission MahaGram is a focused initiative designed to tackle the COVID-19 crisis in rural Maharashtra. With the support of development partners, the mission aims to provide rural communities with vital medical supplies and resources. VSTF is coordinating efforts to deliver oxygen plants, ventilators, hygiene kits, and vaccination campaigns, ensuring that rural areas receive the essential support necessary to effectively fight the pandemic. The initiative encourages development agencies, philanthropists, and civil society organisations to contribute and help fulfil the urgent, verified needs of these communities.

  • Sustainable Agriculture Promotion Programme

This initiative aims to double the productivity and income of small-scale food producers, particularly women, indigenous communities, family farmers, pastoralists, and fishers, by guaranteeing secure and equitable access to land, resources, knowledge, financial services, and markets. It encourages sustainable food production systems and resilient agricultural practices to improve productivity, safeguard ecosystems, and enhance land and soil quality. Additionally, it seeks to increase investment in rural infrastructure, agricultural research, technology development, and gene banks for plants and livestock through strengthened collaboration.
