The Pandit Chaturlal Memorial Society commemorates the legacy of Pandit Chatur Lal, a pioneering tabla maestro who introduced Indian classical music t Read moreo the Western world. It has organised numerous concerts featuring legendary artists like Ustad Bismillah Khan, Ustad Zakir Hussain, and Pandit Jasraj, with distinguished guests including President K.R. Narayanan and Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani. The Society also operates the "Pandit Chaturlal School of Tabla" in New Delhi, teaching tabla in the traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara method. Its goals include promoting tabla solo performances, providing opportunities for young musicians, and establishing a music library in honour of Pandit Chatur Lal. Future plans include creating a residential Gurukul for Indian classical music, where students will learn under revered Gurus, incorporating yoga and meditation for holistic growth. Additionally, an old age home will be established for senior musicians to pass on their knowledge to the younger generation.

This event celebrates the timeless spirit of these brave individuals through the powerful language of music, paying homage to their sacrifices and unwavering dedication to the country's safety and pride.

Taa - Dha Museum
The TAA-DHA museum has been established in memory of the renowned tabla maestro, Late Pandit Chatur Lal, in his former home in South Extension Part II, New Delhi. Inaugurated on 29th November 2009 by Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dixit, was created through the dedication of his son, Charanjit Lal, and granddaughter, Shruti Chaturlal. The museum showcases a rich collection of the maestro’s personal items, instruments, photographs, newspaper clippings, and recordings gathered from his performances around the world.
Charanjit Lal reflects on his father's enduring legacy, noting that his music continues to resonate with audiences both in India and abroad. Shruti emphasizes that TAA-DHA is more than just a museum; it embodies the love and inspiration shared by those who knew him. Many friends and family contributed to the museum, sharing memories and rare recordings as a tribute, ensuring that his musical legacy will inspire future generations.
