Medical health camp
Sunbird Trust is excited to share the success of our recent mission in Leikop Village, Kangpokpi district, Manipur. In collaboration with the Kangpokpi district medical team, we organized a major health camp that became one of our most impactful initiatives, reaching 120 families. Our committed team provided essential medicines to 400 patients and focused on the well-being of the village girls and mothers by distributing sanitary materials and Menstrupedia comic books to each. We sincerely thank the We The Change NGO from Delhi for their generous donation of sanitary pads.

Relief material to Manipur's displaced
StateSunbird Trust has always been at the forefront during times of crisis, whether it was the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-21 or the ongoing conflict in Manipur between the Kuki and Meitei communities. Since the conflict began in May 2023, hundreds of innocent lives have been lost, and over 60,000 people have been displaced, now living in numerous relief camps across Imphal and Churachandpur districts. Understanding the urgent needs of the Internally Displaced People (IDPs), Sunbird's team conducted a thorough assessment of several relief camps to identify their most pressing requirements. Based on this assessment, Sunbird carried out seven relief distribution efforts, providing essential items such as medicines, clothing, bedding, hygiene and sanitary products, winter clothes, and supplies for children including toys, stationery, baby food, shoes, and diapers.
