The organisation ensures a reliable power supply by implementing advanced technologies like the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), Integrated Geographical Information System (GIS), and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). It also offers various consumer services such as a 24/7 integrated helpline, mobile applications for iOS and Android, a bilingual website, multiple payment options, and comprehensive online services for new connections.

    Tata Power-DDL believes in carrying forward the philosophy and legacy of the Tata Group by giving back to the society through its community development initiatives. It has its own aligned vision, mission and policy with a simple view of benefitting the society. The company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mother brand 'SAATHI' meaning a friend and companion has been created with this thought deriving inspiration from the brand promise “With you non-stop”. Tata Power-DDL's Saathi will always be there to serve the community unconditionally, like a true friend and will work vigorously for the betterment of the society.

    Description

    Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) runs several initiatives to promote environmental sustainability. Its "Club Enerji" programme educates students from classes VI-XII on energy conservation, climate change, and electrical safety. The programme distributes a bilingual booklet annually, providing valuable information on these topics. Additionally, the "Urja Mela" event recognises students' innovative contributions to energy conservation. Another initiative, "Harit Ek Pehal," focuses on increasing Delhi's green cover through extensive tree plantation drives. In 2020-21, around 32,400 saplings were planted in various locations, including schools, parks, and office areas. Due to COVID-19, these saplings were sourced from private nurseries, and Tata Power-DDL is developing its own nurseries to enhance self-reliance.

    Description

    Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) empowers women through its Unnati Pillar initiatives, including Women Literacy Centres, the ABHA programme, an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP), and Vocational Training Centres. The Women Literacy Programme helps women achieve functional literacy and financial independence. The ABHA programme extends this, making beneficiaries community change agents who promote CSR activities and earn about Rs. 10,000 monthly.

    The EDP trains women in skills like stitching and handicrafts, enabling them to start businesses and generate income. Success stories include women like Sunita, who earns Rs. 20,000 monthly through her Self Help Group.

    Vocational Training Centres offer skill development in areas such as computer training and retail assistance. Beneficiaries like Brijesh secure jobs and achieve financial stability, earning over 1.25 lakhs annually.

    Additionally, Tata Power-DDL offers tutorial classes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to reduce school dropout rates and support overall development. These classes, held at Vocational Training Centres, cover academic subjects and extra-curricular activities, ensuring zero dropout rates.

In employment, the company prefers SC/ST candidates in campus recruitment, with a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks while maintaining merit. SC/ST students are also encouraged to take internships, providing practical exposure and career opportunities.

    Description

    Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) is committed to improving community health through its "Sanjeevani" programme, which includes several initiatives. The organisation operates four mobile dispensaries that regularly visit underprivileged areas like JJ clusters, resettlement colonies, and villages, offering free medical consultations, medication, and counselling with the help of a doctor, pharmacist, and a woman counsellor. Additionally, Tata Power-DDL has collaborated with Tata Projects to install Skid Mounted RO Purification Units in these communities, providing safe drinking water to combat water-borne diseases. The organisation also partners with the Indian Red Cross Society to organise blood donation camps, with employees and consumers contributing to life-saving efforts. Lastly, through Project Arogya, Tata Power-DDL aims to raise awareness and provide essential services to combat malnutrition among children and pregnant women in slum areas.
