Cognizant Foundation's objective is to be a model social organization that enables and facilitates the underprivileged sections of the Indian society to access quality Education, Healthcare and Livelihood opportunities.
At Cognizant, it is firmly believed that corporate actions play a very important role in creating a climate of positive opinion and that giving back to the Society is not only imperative to the company’s growth, but also an earnest reflection of the values it stands for. This belief is what led to the establishment of Cognizant Foundation, as one of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arms. Cognizant Foundation was set up as an independent corporate entity in March 2005. It is headed by an eminent Board of Directors with experience in public and corporate affairs. Focus areas -

* Sight4All - Cognizant Foundation supports a number of programmes ranging from screening of newborns and community eye screening programmes for children and adults to equipment support for hospitals.
* Care4All - Advancing care for mother and child. Under Care4All, Cognizant Foundation focuses on improving health outcomes for mothers and newborns through community-based interventions and awareness programmes to reduce infant and maternal mortality, and infant disability.
* Support4All - Improving care for the underserved According to the WHO, an estimated 16% of the global population has a significant disability. Consequently,they are more likely to have poorer health and experience greater challenges on a day-to-day basis. DescriptionThrough Future4All, Cognizant Foundation supports programmes that are aimed at uplifting individuals from underserved sections of society by improving access to higher education, promoting digital and STEM learning, and facilitating skilling and vocational training in domains relevant in the modern world.
STEAM4All-Cognizant Foundation has partnered with reputed organisations to develop programmes that focus on capacity building of educators, enhancing digital literacy, creating accessible STEAM learning resources and more.
