This belief is what led to the establishment of Cognizant Foundation, as one of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arms. Cognizant Foundation was set up as an independent corporate entity in March 2005. It is headed by an eminent Board of Directors with experience in public and corporate affairs. At Cognizant, we firmly believe that corporate actions play a very important role in creating a climate of positive opinion and that giving back to Society is not only imperative to the company’s growth, but also an earnest reflection of the values it stands for. Cognizant Foundation collaborates with credible not-for-profit organisations to reduce inequity in access to high-quality healthcare.

Sight4All - Cognizant Foundation supports a number of programmes ranging from screening of newborns and community
eye screening programmes for children and adults to equipment support for hospitals.
Care4All - Advancing care for mother and child. Under Care4All, Cognizant Foundation focuses on improving health outcomes for mothers and
newborns through community-based interventions and awareness programmes to reduce infant and maternal mortality, and infant disability.
Support4All - Improving care for the underserved According to the WHO, an estimated 16% of the global population has a significant disability. Consequently,
they are more likely to have poorer health and experience greater challenges on a day-to-day basis. Under Support4All, Cognizant Foundation focuses on improving overall health and everyday functioning of persons with disabilities, especially children and those with mental illnesses.
