Issue

There is a huge learning gap among the students of government schools with uncountable reasons creating this gap. We seek to narrow this learning gap by running our flagship Language Learning Programme in 18 government schools where our Resource persons goes and teaches the subjects of English and Assamese in presence of the teacher. Due to various reasons the capacities of grassroots NGO's are not concrete, we try to fix this issue by running a Teacher Education Programme where we provide them support to these educators with an aim of developing their pedagogy. A safe environment where a child can come regularly and indulge in activities such as reading books, attending workshops etc compelled us to start a community library in Kamrup (M). The centre is stacked with books where these kids from marginalised sections of society can come and express themselves fully. We also run Anubhav NEET's learning centre in Sonaipam village of Balipara development block of Sonitpur District, benefiting people from 13 nearby villages through health camps, and various activities through the learning centre. The trust also runs a pre school through its Early Childhood Care and Education programme, which have benefitted more than 30 plus students since its inception. The pre school provides free of cost pre primary education to children's from the age group of 2 to 6 years of age. The trust also provides free of cost workshops to children in the field of dance, drama, mime, art and crafts. In the month of July these workshops run and the final day of the event is celebrated with an Antaranga Aalap (event), where learnings from these workshops are displayed in front of a larger community members. In winter the trust also provide free of cost workshops to children through both its centres and the final day is celebrated as a Children's Festival, where learnings from these workshops are performed infant of a larger audience. The trust also organises health camps and awareness talks to provide the community with regular health checkups. The awareness talks in such health camp tries to educate the community members about various diseases these community members faces. Awareness talk on pollution is also provided by the trust to enlighten the community it serves the negative effects that dirty our environment.
