CIFF focuses on demand-driven solutions through technical assistance to strengthen public delivery systems and evidence generation to enhance programme effectiveness. By addressing critical moments in the lives of women and children, CIFF’s efforts aim to unlock transformative outcomes, ensuring long-term improvements in health, education, and wellbeing, while building a sustainable future for communities across India.

Child Health and Development
The Child Health and Development program focuses on improving maternal and child health, with an emphasis on enhancing birth outcomes and nutritional well-being. By facilitating Learning and Action Groups, it empowers communities to make informed health decisions, achieving a 24% reduction in neonatal mortality and saving over 11,800 newborn lives. It has reached 8 million women through government platforms. Additionally, the Global Initiative on Digital Health, launched at the G20, supports global cross-learning and implementation of the 2020-2025 strategy, promoting innovative, tech-driven solutions for better health practices worldwide.

Girl Capital
The program focuses on enhancing educational and financial opportunities for girls and women, addressing critical issues like child marriage and early pregnancies while boosting female labor force participation. Key initiatives include Mission Buniyaad, which collaborates with the Government of Rajasthan to scale India’s largest EdTech program, reaching 350,000 girls in 3,000 schools and improving learning outcomes by 10%. Another flagship initiative, the Skill Impact Bond, in partnership with NSDC, pioneers skilling solutions for women, enrolling 18,000 youth (70% women) to foster skill development and employment transitions.
