The UP Para Sports Association, formerly the Paralympic Committee of Uttar Pradesh, oversees sports activities for physically and visually challenged Read moreathletes. It is affiliated with the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), recognized by the Government of India, and aligned with the Indian Olympic Association. The PCI, in turn, is affiliated with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Since its establishment in 2009, the UP Para Sports Association has been dedicated to promoting sports among divyang individuals in Uttar Pradesh, providing them a strong platform to excel. Through sincere and consistent efforts, the association has enabled athletes from the state to represent India at national and international events, including the Paralympics. Over 100 para-athletes from Uttar Pradesh have already participated in prestigious international competitions.
