Deepsikha Cancer Care is a non-profit organisation that helps cancer patients and their families, especially those travelling from remote parts of Ind Read moreia for treatment. Founded by Mr. Devashish Sharma and a group of friends, it aims to ease the challenges of cancer treatment in Mumbai. The organisation conducts awareness and screening camps in rural areas, promotes holistic care during treatment, and campaigns against tobacco use and cancer. It offers psychological support, counselling, and accommodation near treatment centres. Deepsikha also runs a modern pain and palliative care hospice in Mirza, Assam, and a shelter home for patients in Mumbai. Its mission is to raise awareness, support cancer screening and treatment, make care affordable for underprivileged patients, and build support networks for comprehensive cancer care.

Screening Camps
Deepsikha organises screening camps across various districts of Assam and other northeastern states. Individuals detected at the pre-cancerous stage receive appropriate guidance and support. The organisation plans to expand its efforts by establishing more strategically planned and well-equipped screening camps in every district of Assam and the northeastern states, ensuring greater accessibility to early detection and preventive care for the communities in these regions.

Awareness Camp
Spreading cancer awareness is crucial to dispel misconceptions. Deepsikha conducts mass awareness and detection camps in remote villages, schools, colleges, corporate offices, and factories. The organization hosts an annual fundraising event, Pritir Enajori (The Bond of Love), to raise funds for patient care and related activities while bringing together survivors, well-wishers, and supporters. Over the years, the musical NGO SA has supported Deepsikha by organising cultural events to further its cause.
