  • Legrand Empowering Scholarship Programme

Launched in May 2018 with the support of the French Embassy in India, the Legrand Empowering Scholarship Programme is offered by the French electrical group Legrand. It aims to support the education of Indian students from low-income families and children of armed forces personnel, with preference given to children of martyrs.

The scholarship is available for Master’s level studies in Management, Science, Engineering, Finance, and Social Science.

The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of INR 59,500 and waives the visa fee through Campus France. It covers up to one academic year (September to June) and can be renewed for a second year based on the student’s academic performance and attendance during the first year of their master’s studies.

  • Amba Dalmia Scholarship Programme

Established in 2018, the Amba Dalmia Scholarship Programme is named in honour of Amba Dalmia, the late daughter of Dr. Gun Nidhi Dalmia of the Dalmia Group. Dedicated to the education of young Indian girls, a cause close to Dr. Dalmia’s heart, the scholarship is a result of his significant financial contributions to this cause.

The programme aims to empower and encourage Indian women to pursue studies in music, sports, theatre, cinema, gastronomy, and the arts in France.

The scholarship provides a monthly allowance for living expenses and waives visa and Campus France fees. However, it does not cover other expenses such as flight tickets, accommodation, insurance, or travel-related costs.
