Currently led by His Holiness Swami Swaroopananda, the Mission is managed by the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) in Mumbai. Under his guidance, the Mission has expanded worldwide, with over 300 centres across the globe. Chinmaya Mission follows the Vedic teacher-student tradition (guru-shishya parampara) and shares the timeless wisdom of Advaita Vedanta, the philosophy of universal oneness, offering tools to integrate this knowledge into everyday life. Vedanta, the core of Hindu philosophy, is a universal science of life that resonates with people of all faiths and backgrounds, helping them deepen their understanding of their own beliefs. While Chinmaya Mission is rooted in Hinduism, it does not seek to convert individuals from other religions.
