The o Read morerganization honors its legacy while embracing modern sensibilities, with merit and integrity serving as its guiding principles. No deserving student is turned away due to financial constraints, as full scholarships are offered to support them. Special efforts are made to help these students realize their full potential. While English is the primary medium of instruction, certain sections in the Commerce Colleges are also conducted in Hindi and Marathi. The institutions are located on expansive campuses with excellent infrastructure, and most are affiliated with R.T.M. Nagpur University. Six of its seven institutions receive government aid. Shiksha Mandal offers courses from Class XI to Ph.D., with both traditional aided programs and a growing range of non-aided courses, including an MBA. To further support student development, various add-on and certificate courses, such as Computer and English programs, are available. The institutions also provide guidance for competitive exams like Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary. The organization has a strong tradition of involvement in the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), sports, and extracurricular activities. For over 40 years, Shiksha Mandal has also been actively engaged in rural development, running a successful Community Polytechnic Scheme since 1984 to provide vocational training.

Hosted the first Indian Education Conference presided by Mahatma Gandhi in 1937. Established its first college G.S. College of Commerce in Wardha in 1940. Started Bajaj Institute of Technology in Wardha in 2017.
