The Society for Integrated Development Action Research and Training (SIDART) is an NGO founded by a group of committed individuals dedicated to humani Read moretarian and social work, with a strong focus on empowering women and children. It values the wisdom, knowledge, and resources present in local communities, adopting a facilitative and non-directive approach. Its mission is to support marginalized and impoverished communities, particularly women and children, in overcoming exploitation due to class, caste, and gender inequalities. By building on their existing resources, individuals are empowered to protect and promote values that foster gender equality across personal, familial, social, political, and institutional spheres. Additionally, SIDART conducts road safety training and programs to address the right to life. Its vision is to ensure the realization of individual rights and to help others recognize the needs of everyone, constantly seeking to explore, promote, and strengthen methods that uplift those in need.

  • Women Empowerment Programme

    SIDART, in partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, conducts seminars and training sessions to empower women to actively participate in Panchayats, India's local self-government institutions. These programs enhance women's confidence and public speaking skills, especially among those with limited education. Specialized training is also provided for sarpanchs (elected Panchayat heads) and members to optimize Panchayat operations. Trained women serve as village volunteers, addressing community issues and improving village environments by applying knowledge from these seminars.

    SIDART, in collaboration with AU Small Finance Bank, has organized "Mega Health and Nutrition Awareness Camps" across rural, urban, and slum areas in and around Jaipur. These initiatives aim to provide basic health checkups and diagnoses to underserved communities, focusing on reducing anaemia and raising health awareness. The success of these camps is attributed to the dedicated efforts of the SIDART team and volunteers, who have effectively reached children in schools and other community members.
