DescriptionSamsung empowers young minds to drive innovation and social change by leveraging its technology and expertise to develop future-ready skills, including technical knowledge and soft skills like creative thinking and empathy.
In 2022, Samsung launched the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) in India, a global CSR initiative upskilling youth aged 18-25 in future technologies to enhance employability. SIC offers job-focused courses in Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data, and Coding & Programming, along with hands-on training, expert mentoring, and soft skills development.
In collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, SIC 2024 operates in Delhi NCR, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh. Samsung Solve for Tomorrow
DescriptionSamsung Solve for Tomorrow is a youth-focused idea contest advancing STEM skills and fostering creative problem-solving for the future workforce. The program encourages students to address social issues in Education, Agriculture, Healthcare, and Environment through innovative solutions.
In 2022, Samsung invested KRW 20.5 billion in this initiative, which aims to build an innovation ecosystem in India. Solve for Tomorrow 2024 operates in two tracks:
School Track (ages 14–17): Offers ₹25 Lakh for the best idea on Community and Inclusion.
Youth Track (ages 18–22): Offers ₹50 Lakh for the best idea on Environment and Sustainability.
