  • Qissa Pitara Project

    Launched in 2022, the Qissa Pitara Project by the JCB Literature Foundation aims to foster a love for reading, creativity, and imagination in children while providing access to knowledge for marginalized communities. By partnering with educational organizations, the Foundation sets up child-friendly libraries in schools and community centres in rural areas, promoting reading through activities like read-aloud, storytelling, and arts and crafts. The initiative also empowers teachers and librarians to manage these spaces and engage children.

  • Anuvaad Project

    The Post Graduate Diploma in Literary Translation trains translators to bring works from Indian languages to English-speaking readers globally. This two-semester online program includes two offline sessions and offers practical training in literary translation. It covers topics such as the production, circulation, and reception of translations in India, as well as digital tools, design, production, and marketing for literary translations. Students complete a publishable translation as part of the Translation Studio.
