Suprabhat Mahila Mandal (SMM), or Suprabhat Women’s Council, is a Pune-based non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering underprivileged women and Read more children through education and development. Established as an offshoot of Pratham, one of India’s largest education-focused NGOs, it is a women-led initiative committed to fostering confidence and self-reliance. With a mission to equip marginalized communities with essential skills, the organisation emphasizes social, cultural, and computer literacy.   • Urban Learning Centres

    District

    Three learning centers serve as vital community hubs in Dhankawadi, Sukhsagar Nagar, Janwadi, Dhayri, and Kothrud, providing essential educational and developmental support to local families and students. While a nominal fee is charged, it is waived for those in need, ensuring accessibility for all. With over 5,000 beneficiaries impacted, these centers play a crucial role in fostering learning, growth, and empowerment within underprivileged communities.

  • Education Changing Life (ECL)

    District

    Launched in 2013, this programme supports students facing financial and personal challenges that hinder their pursuit of higher education. Through financial aid and career counseling, it has benefited over 150 students between 2013 and 2024. On January 26, 2024, the "ECL (Education Changes Lives) Students Get Together" in Pune brought students together for a day of learning, interactive workshops, and shared experiences, fostering unity, empowerment, and lasting inspiration.
