Recity is promoting a circular economy for plastics to ensure they remain in the value chain and do not harm the environment. Through its innovative, Read moretechnology-driven approach, it connects waste generators, recyclers, brands, and urban local bodies to create sustainable solutions. The organisation provides producers and brands with high-quality, traceable recycled plastics via its Circular Packaging solutions. Additionally, it addresses stakeholders' specific needs by leveraging the Waste Intelligence platform while fostering behavioural change, professionalising waste workers, and reforming governance systems under the Circular Cities initiative. By working with global foundations, Recity tackles systemic challenges that are often managed independently. The organisation envisions building inclusive, efficient city-level waste management systems and enhancing plastic waste circularity on a global scale. With a bold 2030 goal, Recity aims to recycle 350,000 metric tonnes of plastic waste across 100 cities worldwide.

Project KEEP, a CSR initiative by Godrej Consumer Products Limited in collaboration with Pondicherry Municipality, Swachata Corporation, and Recity Network, strives to position Pondicherry as one of India's cleanest coastal cities. By 2024, it aims to professionalise 700 waste workers and streamline municipal solid waste management.
