Over the past decade, the organisation has positively impacted over fifty thousand lives by fostering behavioural change and addressing basic needs through a bottom-up approach to inclusive development. Its efforts emphasise sustainable development and improving the status of underprivileged individuals. PALAM has been highly effective in disaster relief, constructing houses, temporary shelters, and community centres during national disasters such as the 2004 Tsunami and NISHA cyclone floods in Tamil Nadu. Currently, the organisation is working in the Gaja Cyclone-affected regions of Thiruthuraipoondi in the Thiruvarur district, demonstrating its continued dedication to rebuilding and supporting affected communities.
