International Professional Technologist Program (iPTP)
1. Program in Automation started in Apr ’24 with ITEES Singapore as anchor academic partner, with a batch of 23 students (ITI certificate/Diploma holders). The program is designed for 9 months of residential training in NAMTECH Campus and 3 months of internship and will equip and enable learners to pursue global job opportunities.The first batch has completed their training and got a 100% placement with an average of 30% increment in their salaries compared to pre training salaries offered by industries. The second batch of 22 learners are undergoing their training and expected to complete it by Sept. 2025.
2. The new programs being proposed to be launched this academic year are aligned with “National Agenda of making India as Manufacturing Hub”:
a. Semiconductor Operations (ATMP)
b. Precision Engineering (inclusive of Additive Manufacturing)
c. Electrical Energy Automation
d. Robotics system integration Technician -

International Professional Technicians’ Certification Program (IPTCP) programs, in partnership with ITEES, Singapore (certification partner) and Carnegie Mellon University (digital education platform partner) in a Mentor - Hub and Spoke model.
The present NAMTECH campus is the Mentor Institute and Hubs are Government ITIs in Gujarat. The pilot batch of this program is implemented at 5 Hub ITIs namely ITI Vadnagar, ITI Visnagar, ITI Kheralu, ITI Sidhpur and ITI Mehsana. Each Hub is mapped with 6 spokes.
The programs are:
1. Certificate Program in Numeracy, Communication and Employability Skills (iPTCP-DE)

3. Certificate Program in Energy Automation (iPTCP-EA)

NAMTECH’s transformative learning journey is already yielding remarkable results. At the World Skills Competition 2024 in Lyon, France, students from NAMTECH’s first iPMP batch represented India and secured India’s first-ever medal in the advanced engineering Industry 4.0 category, competing against global powerhouses. This achievement was acknowledged by high-level government officials, validating NAMTECH’s bold vision. Nationally, students from the April 2024 iPTP batch excelled in India level technical competitions like the JANATICS Automation National Skill Challenge 2024, further highlighting the program’s ability to equip students with technical proficiency and leadership skills. These early successes are indicators of a powerful model at work, poised to create significant impact as NAMTECH expands its reach. NAMTECH’s model has received endorsements from various ministers including Hon’ble Minister of Electronics and Information Technology - Shri. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister of Education – Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, validating its approach and impact. The institution has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat, further strengthening its commitment to transforming vocational education in the state.
