GPTI, the General Promotion Training Institute, stands as the first Vocational Training Provider in Arunachal Pradesh, officially recognized by the Mi Read morenistry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. It distinguishes itself by being the sole locally rooted VTP in a landscape dominated by Delhi NCR-based institutions. GPTI has dedicated its efforts to fostering skill development and self-employment opportunities for the unemployed youth of Arunachal Pradesh. Notably, it has earned accolades from Shree Shankar Mission Trust Guwahati and secured recognition from the Regional Directorates of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT) in Kolkata, a division of the Government of India. This VTP, GPTI, holds the official approval of both the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and the Government of India for skill development and awareness initiatives. Since its establishment in 2007, GPTI has trained over 5,000 unemployed youths in Arunachal Pradesh, enhancing their employability. Additionally, GPTI has generously trained more than 300 students at its own expense. Through collaborations with reputed Indian companies, GPTI facilitates job placements for its trainees. Moreover, it has awarded over 500 NCVT Certificates, recognized nationally and internationally, opening doors to job opportunities worldwide. GPTI's commitment extends to organising awareness campaigns, seminars featuring industry icons like Jawed Habib, media advertisements, and the establishment of training centres across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Guwahati, led by a team of over 150 skilled trainers.
