"Bheraldi Rural Development Association (BRDA)has been dedicated to rural development since its establishment in 2005. Affiliated with Nehru Yuva Kend Read morera, it is a non-governmental, non-profit organization gaining recognition for its outstanding service to the community, including an Award of Outstanding Youth Club from NYK, Barpeta.Focus is on serving marginalized rural populations, including destitute women and children. Vision is: ""A society with a thriving economy and robust health, leading to contentment."" and Mission is ""to alleviate poverty and promote peace and happiness by spreading education based on truth and compassion, fostering economic activities regardless of ethnic differences."" It works with a Srategy to:""focuses on collaborating with youth to find sustainable alternatives for better livelihoods. It is open to partnerships with like-minded organizations, whether government or non-government, national or international."" "

Impact
1.BRDA has made outstanding impact on skill building capacities of women and young girls. 2. It has worked extensively on water, sanitation and health issues in the rural areas . The organisations effort have earned it the outstanding award from NYK , Barpeta.
Programs

Health & Sanitation
BRDA had voluntarily choosen five Gram Panchayats namely –Bhella , Keotkuchi, Radhakuchi , Chenga M Para , Roumari pather, Dakshin Sarukhetri of Barpeta district to carry out its services under the aegis of Deptt. of Public Health Engineering (Tech). It has sorted around 425 families on the ground of economy and constructed for them Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) in their house hold as guidelines and plan estimates. On the basis of priority it has constructed as many IHHL as stated in the list.

Skill building
BRDA and Nehru Yuva Kendra launched skill building programmes to capacitate the poor rural women. Vocational training centres on cutting and tailoring with participation of 30 women in Barpeta was initiated in 2016. Through this three month programme, the focus was to build skills of the beneficiaries to make them self-independent.

Nai Roshini
BRDA had actively implemented the Nai Roshini programme in 2017-18 in Barpeta.Nai Roshni is a Central sector scheme for leadership development among the women of minority communities aged 18 to 65 years. The scheme empowers minority women with the help of NGOs and various other civil societies nationwide. The Ministry of Minority Affairs Government of India runs the Nai Roshni scheme. The key objectives are:
1.Develop leadership qualities in minority women.
2.Address gender inequality.
3.Empower minority women to advocate for their social and human rights.
4.Promote social, intellectual, economic, and financial empowerment.
5.Enhance women's participation in nation-building. Through this scheme, BRDA is committed to serves the rural marginalised poor, destitute women and children with basic thrust and concentration upon over all socio-economic development, women empowerment, awareness generation and skill and entrepreneurship development etc.
