It facilitates perspective-building, advocacy processes, and professional development among these communities. IRADO operates under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and aims to shift the development perspective from needs to rights. Its commitment lies in making Government schemes and projects accessible to disadvantaged communities in the region, enhancing their well-being. Initially, IRADO started with door-to-door marketing of handicraft products in metropolitan areas, marking a significant and transformative journey for both the organisation and its beneficiaries. IRADO's primary goal is to serve as a platform for promoting traditional handicrafts from the Northeast region, particularly empowering women to take control of their lives and resources. This empowerment translates into positive changes within their communities. The organisation's diverse activities have been met with success, inspiring it to continually strive for greater efficiency and growth, all while bringing smiles to the faces of the villagers it assists.

Covid Relief Camp - 2020
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is widespread in Assam, particularly affecting the poor and marginalized communities. In response, the organization has been actively engaged in providing crucial support and information to these vulnerable groups. Collaborating with NERAMAC, the organization conducted a COVID-19 Relief Camp on May 17, 2020, in Bahupara, Rani, Kamrup (R) District, Assam, benefiting 100 households. The relief camp distributed essential items such as face masks, sanitizers, soaps, and food, aiming to address the urgent needs of the most vulnerable residents in the area.

Cluster Outcome Workshop
StateA Cluster Outcome Workshop was held on November 10, 2021, at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Lalmati, Guwahati, Assam, sponsored by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, for members of Technical Agency (TA), Implementing Agency (IA), Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), and Cluster Development Executive under the SFURTI scheme. Mrs. Monika Kardong representing the Implementing Agency and Mrs. Bobby P. Dhekial from HSPCL (SPV) participated in the one-day workshop. The workshop aimed to provide training to stakeholders for timely planning and implementation of clusters, ensuring that government interventions benefit the beneficiaries promptly, thereby enhancing production quality and increasing their income.
