A considerable number of children in the area were found to be struggling to achieve grade-appropriate learning competency. Many of these children lacked basic literacy and numeracy skills, making it challenging for them to participate at the level expected for their respective grades. In response to this critical issue, the organization initiated efforts to provide support to these children, aiming to help them attain the necessary competencies gradually. The organization implements tailored support and assistance, focusing on building a solid foundation in literacy and numeracy for these children. In the area, agriculture served as the primary source of livelihood, with many residents working as daily wage earners. Recognizing that poverty reduction was crucial for families with school-going children, the programme's primary goal became promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities. By empowering poor parents with viable income-generating options, the organization aimed to alleviate financial constraints that hindered children's education.
