The conservation effort in this Endeavour was particularly participation-focused. have taken the initiative to educate and raise public awareness of a wide range of environmental issues, such as the need to reduce conflict between humans and wildlife by conserving nature and its habitat, saving endangered species, rescuing animals, and dispelling myths about wildlife. We also inspire young people and students to care for and protect this region's distinctive biodiversity by educating them about environmental issues in a localized setting.

Awareness Campaign to save Kakoijana
The project titled "Awareness Campaign to save Kakoijana, The Home of Golden Langur" was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bongaigaon during the period of 1996-1997. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the conservation of Kakoijana, which is the natural habitat of the endangered Golden Langur. Through educational campaigns and community engagement activities, the project sought to highlight the importance of preserving this critical habitat and protecting the unique biodiversity it harbors. The Rotary Club of Bongaigaon played a pivotal role in coordinating efforts to safeguard Kakoijana, ensuring that future generations could continue to enjoy the presence of the Golden Langur in its natural environment.

Plantation Activities in the Kakoijana Reserve Forest
The project titled "Plantation Activities in the Kakoijana Reserve Forest" was conducted by BRPL, Bongaigaon, during the period of 1997-1998. This initiative aimed to address environmental concerns by engaging in tree plantation activities within the Kakoijana Reserve Forest. By collaborating with local stakeholders and community members, BRPL facilitated the planting of trees to enhance forest cover, restore degraded areas, and promote biodiversity conservation. Through their efforts, BRPL contributed to the sustainable management of the reserve forest, ensuring its ecological integrity for future generations.
