Women Empowerment Programs - Gender Resource Centre
Basic Foundation has established a transformative Gender Resource Center (GRC) to uplift women in slum communities. The GRC serves as a comprehensive hub, offering legal counseling, health education, clinical treatment, and remedial education. Women are also empowered through adult literacy classes and guidance on accessing government schemes. Beyond social support, the center fosters economic independence through skill-building programs, Self-Help Group (SHG) formation, and micro-enterprise development. Envisioned as a catalyst for change, the GRC strives to achieve holistic empowerment, enabling women to lead dignified and self-reliant lives.
