A community-based, volunteer-driven initiative called Choti si Khushi aims to overcome the growing gap in possibilities that children living in urban Read moreslums face. Through education, empowerment, ongoing counselling, and professional training, the program seeks to improve the quality of life for these children while also fostering their goals, dreams, and ambitions. The majority of the kids at our facility are first-generation students from homes where the parents have never attended school. These kids frequently don't receive the necessary family assistance because of their parents' jobs and the bad economic situations they live in. Our primary goal is to strengthen the foundation by channelling the local communities and making use of the resources that are accessible, such as community parks.

StateChoti Si Khushi came up with the creative idea of Udaan to help rehabilitate kids who have fallen off the path because of drugs and other harmful habits. The idea of Uddan is to increase the children's self-esteem and help them understand their value to their families, society, and both. A pilot study is being carried out under the program, in which ten to fifteen children from different schools in grades six through ten are enrolled in academic and personality development classes.
