FXB India Suraksha (FXBIS) is a non-governmental, non-profit entity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged children, women, and communities in rural an Read mored urban areas of India. Focused on marginalized children and those affected by HIV/AIDS, FXBIS employs an integrated development approach encompassing livelihood, health, and education programmes. Its goal is to foster a secure, healthy, and sustainable environment for vulnerable individuals, particularly women and children. It collaborates with communities, Governmental bodies, and non-governmental agencies, fostering joint investment narratives for community-led human development. Prioritizing the replication of successful programmes, the organisation ensures sustainable achievements across various states to broaden its impactful reach. Operating in 13 states and union territories, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, FXBIS aims to extend its initiatives to West Bengal by 2020.

FXBVillage Programme
FXB India Suraksha employs the FXBVillage methodology, a sustainable, community-based approach to lift 80-100 families, totalling around 500 individuals, out of extreme poverty. Over three years, participants develop life skills, supported by grants for income-generating activities. FXBIS funds 100% in the first year, decreasing to 75% in the second year, and a shared 50% in the third year, fostering participants' physical, financial, and social independence. The programme ensures essential aspects like livelihood, shelter, health, and education, with a commitment to eradicating child labour. Predominantly empowering women, FXBVillage extends its impact to remote areas across India, fostering socio-economic sustainability and dignity.

Training & Capacity Building Programme
The Suraksha Sustainable Learning Programme by FXBIS aims to equip Police Officers with updated knowledge, fostering gender-neutral, victim-friendly approaches in handling trafficking and crimes against women and children. Collaborating with Madhya Pradesh police, the initiative's first phase trained constables, ensuring law enforcers were well-prepared from the outset. Its Entrepreneurial Development Programme empowers underprivileged women to initiate micro-enterprises for sustainable income. FXBIS further strengthens stakeholders' capacities, training over 5000 service providers to combat trafficking, violence, and child abuse.

Livelihood Promotion Programme
DistrictStateFXB India Suraksha aspires for an India where women and families lead empowered lives marked by self-reliance and dignity. The organisation actively creates skill-based employment for women, fostering individual and community capacities for sustainable business growth. By reviving traditional livelihoods using local resources and technology transfer, it empowers women in Self Help Groups (SHGs) through comprehensive training. These SHGs are strategically linked with cooperatives, financial institutions, and Government schemes, providing micro-financing opportunities and market access for their products and services, facilitated by FXBIS state teams with attention to regional nuances.

Healthcare Programmes
FXB India Suraksha partnered with the India HIV/AIDS Alliance in the northeastern states, delivering care and treatment to 13,776 people affected by HIV/AIDS. Initiatives included the MSM Targeted Intervention Project for preventing HIV spread, Health, Hygiene and Sanitation Programmes in Jharkhand and Noida, and the Link Workers Scheme in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the organisation implemented Care, Support, and Treatment programmes in Rajasthan, Nagaland, and Kerala, addressing the unique needs of each community. Workplace and Barber Intervention Programmes extended awareness and services to migrant labourers and communities nationwide.

Childline 1098 Implementation
As a collaborative partner with the Childline India Foundation under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS), FXB India Suraksha supports CHILDLINE-1098, a 24x7 emergency helpline for children in distress. Operating in GB Nagar since 2011 and in Ukhrul since 2019, the programme follows the four C's Model - Connect, Catalyze, Collaborate, and Communicate. Beyond direct services, CHILDLINE focuses on prevention through outreach, raising awareness in the community about the free helpline, and reaching over 20,000 children in both GB Nagar and Ukhrul.
