International Youth Club (IYC) provides an opportunity to explore and experience nature and culture of villages in Himalayan region. The club provides Read more facilities such as transportation, budget accommodation, food and guides for the journey from their base camps. Such adventure and educational tours provide an opportunity to understand social, economical and cultural values of local communities. IYC organizes Sustainable Responsible Tourism, tours with minimum impact to natural areas that conserves environment. Here, travelers get a chance to interact with local people and to understand their culture and tradition. Rescue & Disaster Management program focuses on training the youth to be ready for any unforeseen situation and quick rescue measures in case of a disaster. IYC, New Delhi Nature Society and local communities have designed a program called Tree Plantation & Nature Study focusing on connecting with nature in every possible way such as listening to birds, planting a tree, meditating, doing yoga etc. IYC supports community building programs by creating supportive projects to improve the infrastructure. It encourages people to practice community based tourism where tourists get to spend time in local communities and learn local ways of living & their culture. International Youth Club's Cultural exchange programs allows young people of different countries to connect with each other and exchange ideas, views and experiences, creating a positive impact on their lives. IYC is developing a survival training program which would provide the practical experience necessary to handle many kinds of problems that could arise in hostile conditions.
