The primary objective of the Paralympic Committee of India is to promote sports for differently-abled individuals across the country. The organization focuses on identifying talented para-athletes at the national level, providing them with the necessary training, and preparing them for participation in state, national, and international sports competitions.

The mission of PCI is to identify, train, and support athletes across the country, nurturing a dynamic Paralympic movement and ensuring strong representation in both national and international sports events.

PCI recently hosted the New Delhi 2024 WSPS World Cup in March 2024 in India, showcasing its commitment to providing world-class opportunities for athletes.
