PSF was founded in 2011 under section 60 vide registration no- 1843/4/3693/96-112 in Delhi, by a group of passionate individuals who recognized the pr Read moreessing needs of marginalized populations in India. The founders, driven by their commitment to uplift society, initiated various social initiatives that have since blossomed into comprehensive programs addressing critical issues such as education, health, and livelihood. With a dedicated team of volunteers and professionals, PSF has garnered support from various sectors, including local businesses, government bodies, and individual philanthropists. These partnerships are vital in expanding the foundation’s initiatives and enhancing its reach. As the PSF continues to grow, it remains committed to its core values of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Through consistent monitoring and evaluation of its programs, the foundation ensures that resources are utilized effectively and that the communities it serves witness tangible improvements in their quality of life.
Action
The PSF believes that education is the cornerstone of development. To this end, PSF collaborates with schools located in slums to provide quality education to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, who otherwise wouldn’t have access. Through its educational initiatives, the foundation not only imparts knowledge but also instills confidence and aspirations in the youth. The foundation places a significant emphasis on health and wellness. To address health disparities, the PSF conducts regular health camps in underserved areas, offering free medical check-ups and medicines, Supporting Heart Surgery of children from underprivileged families, working for mensural sanitation of poor females, and nutritional counseling of pregnant ladies and children. Livelihood generation is another critical focus area for the PSF. Understanding that economic stability is essential for community resilience, the foundation supports institutions to implement vocational training programs tailored to local needs. These programs empower individuals, particularly women, to acquire skills in areas such as tailoring, food processing, and handicrafts.

Heart Energize
In areas where the majority of the population resides in slums with limited or no income, access to healthcare is severely lacking, leading to dire consequences, particularly for pregnant women and infants. Non-governmental organizations like PSF play a crucial role in bridging this gap by providing essential medical services and supporting surgeries for children born with congenital heart defects, a prevalent issue exacerbated by poor environmental factors and inadequate prenatal care. PSF's initiatives aim to address the financial barriers faced by families, ensuring access to life-saving treatments and post-operative care, thus significantly impacting the survival and well-being of affected children. Since its inception in August 2011, PSF has successfully supported numerous heart surgeries, collaborating with both government hospitals and private institutions to fulfill its mission.

RAY of HOPE to STOMA Patients
In a world where healthcare inequalities are pervasive, particularly for marginalized communities, the role of PSF becomes crucial in bridging the gap. In Delhi, a health initiative “RAY OF HOPE” is launched by PSF to bring significant impact by providing essential medical supplies and support to children suffering from stoma—a surgical opening in the abdomen that allows for the expulsion of bodily waste. This health condition, often resulting from congenital disabilities, severe infections, or accidents, places immense physical and psychological burdens on affected children and their families.
PSF’s mission is simple yet profound: The organization ensures that families are not only equipped with quality medical supplies but also receive education on stoma management. Essential supplies such as ostomy bags, cleaning materials, and skin care products are distributed regularly, thereby alleviating the financial burden on struggling families.

OUR PATH TO PROGRESS
PSF Scholarship Programs OUR PATH TO PROGRESS aimed to help underprivileged children obtain quality education. While public schools can also offer quality education, they may sometimes struggle with overcrowded classrooms, insufficient resources, or outdated curricula. Private schools, on the other hand, often provide a more conducive learning environment, smaller class sizes, and innovative teaching methods. By granting scholarships for private education, NGOs ensure that children receive the high standard of learning they deserve, significantly enhancing their educational experience.
Attending a private school opens up a network of opportunities. These institutions often offer internships, mentorships, and connections that can be invaluable for their career. For many children from low-income families, this network can be lifechanging. Currently, 130 children are getting the benefits of PSF scholarship program at a private school in Gurugram Haryana.
Milestones & Track Record
PSF has launched several successful projects including Heart Energize (2012), Fighting with Early Puberty (2012), Health For All (2013), OUR PATH TO PROGRESS (2014), and ANNA PATRA, which aims to feed 1 million people by 2020.
