Khwai Nungseng Sinthalup (KHNSI) organised the "2nd One Day Peace Convention," a program attended by former president of International Society for Kri Read moreshna Consciousness (ISKCON), retired BDO, Islamic spiritual leader Abdul Rahman, retired IPS officer Sarangthem Manaobi,managing director of Rama Foundation, former Chairman of Yairipok, KHNSI president Moirangthem Prakash, among others. KHNSI also organized a public meeting with the theme ‘Peaceful Settlement and Communal Harmony’ at Yairipok Bazar, Thoubal district to address the increase in crime and violence in Manipur and the growing distrust amongst the people belonging to different communities. The meeting strongly condemned a petrol bomb attack on a vehicle at Yairipok Tulihal, and was attended by Col Dr Manoranjan Khuman, Advisor of Internal Security, Ministry of Home Affairs as the chief guest.
