Wondang Ki Charitable Foundation (WCF) is a registered charitable society with a mission to provide hope to the hopeless and homes for the homeless, g Read moreuided by the motto "Entrusted to Transform Lives." It originated from the founder's encounter with a family affected by HIV/AIDS, inspiring a vision to support parentless and homeless children. Prompted by this experience and confirmed by subsequent opportunities, WCF established New Life Children Home (NLCH) in Dimapur in 2001, initially accommodating 20 children. Since its inception, WCF has been dedicated to addressing the needs of vulnerable children, particularly those without parental care. Through NLCH and other initiatives, it strives to provide a nurturing environment and opportunities for these children to thrive and grow. With a focus on transforming lives and offering essential support, WCF continues to expand its reach and impact in the community.

Programs
-
Orphanage
The programme at the orphanage aims to transform the lives of parentless children by providing them with affection, discipline, and spiritual guidance. It focuses on offering quality education to nurture them into responsible individuals and prevent them from becoming anti-social. Through agreements with their extended family, the organisation ensures regular visits and opportunities for the children to integrate back into their relatives' homes during vacations and upon completing their studies, thus fulfilling its mission to transform lives.
-
Adoption Agency
The adoption agency operated by WCF addresses two significant social needs: rescuing abandoned infants and providing childless couples with the opportunity to build families. While the organisation doesn't facilitate adoptions for the girls in its orphanage due to their guardianship agreements, it aims to save the lives of newborns who might otherwise be abandoned and place them in caring families. Additionally, it helps childless couples fulfill their dreams of parenthood by matching them with children in need of loving homes, thus fulfilling its mission to serve both infants in distress and couples longing for children.
