Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights
StateCLAP advocates for sexual and reproductive health rights of human beings from the legal perspective by advocating for legal reforms, ensuring implementation of non-discriminatory laws, rights of people to raise their voices against forced laws, media advocacy, demanding transparency and advocacy in governance, facilitating non-violent dialogue in civil society and promoting appropriate fund allocation for enforcement of laws and policies.

Access to Justice
CLAP strives to stand for article 39A of the Constitution which lays down that no person is denied justice due to the lack of resources and economic means. It provides free legal services to underprivileged people and conducts demonstrative model legal clinics at the district, State and national level, which includes legal representation, application to human rights institutions, referral services, replying to legal notices and relevant mediation before the litigation begins.

It fights for media freedom and freedom of expression by taking up legal defence of bloggers, press and electronic media in court proceedings, considering that the freedom of expression is a fundamental right which goes forward to create an informed society.

Freedom of Association
CLAP stands by the public when it comes to the creation of unions and associations. It protects the citizen's right to form unions and associations for community benefit.

CLAP believes that to strengthen democracy good governance is necessary. Its view of governance includes rural governance, urban governance, transparency, accountability, participation, budget advocacy, institutional reforms, policy reforms and the right to public service.
