Person-To-Person Programme
Every day thousands of families arrive at CMC Vellore, in desperate need of healthcare. They use their life savings and sell their belongings to travel to Vellore for medical care. Many are unable to pay for their treatment. We do our best to treat every one, as we believe they deserve the best quality care possible.
When you give to the Person-To-Person (PTP) Programme, your generosity is multiplied five times by CMC. For one patient, ₹10,000 of PTP subsidy is matched up to five times by CMC, so a deserving patient receives concession of up to ₹50,000. Together, we bring five times the Joy to children like Jaanu, a 7-year-old girl whose life was saved by CMC’s Medical ICU team. Emergency Fund
The Emergency Fund was set up to help our poor patients get treatment as quickly as possible. Many travel great distances for their loved one to get better. They spend all of their life savings, and more, on travel and accommodation leaving little for their treatment.
Others come to CMC and are not expecting a major illness. But when they are told about the diagnosis and the treatment needed, they know they cannot afford it. Some have an accident that needs immediate treatment to save their lives.
Our dream is to never turn a patient away! Grants of up to ₹80,000 is given for a patient through the treating department. It can help patients needing ICU care, trauma care, expensive operations, cancer treatment, costly medicines, tests etc.
