Beyond the college, its players contribute to the Tamilnadu Senior Team and Anna University Team and have been appointed in Railways and Customs under the Sports Quota, showcasing its excellence in sports at various levels.

Its research team, consisting of doctorates, research scholars, and students, focuses on innovative projects in various engineering and technology disciplines, both academic and sponsored. The college provides well-equipped infrastructure in all departments, including recognized Research Centres in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Biotechnology, certified by Anna University for Ph.D. research. With 24 PhD research supervisors, 52 registered research scholars, and 14 completed PhDs (including four from Anna University), the institution is actively contributing to pioneering research in engineering and technology.
