Rural Development Programme
StateThe MCRC Rural Development Programme is a transformative initiative aimed at uplifting rural communities across Tamil Nadu by deploying sustainable and impactful solutions. Through partnerships with NGOs, SHGs, and local stakeholders, the programme addresses critical needs in agriculture, health, energy, and environment. Small farmers and rural women are empowered through organic farming practices, bio-agri inputs, and microenterprise training. MRDP also introduces renewable energy devices, waste management solutions, and innovative technologies like smokeless stoves and solar dryers to enhance quality of life, fostering self-reliance and sustainable development in over 60 villages.
