  • CCDT’s Child Protection Programme

    District

    CCDT's Child Protection Thematic Intervention focuses on upholding the rights of children requiring care and protection through various programmes. These efforts aim to shield children from exploitation and abuse within the community, as well as provide residential care and rescue and rehabilitation services across Mumbai, including railway stations like CST. Furthermore, CCDT operates two additional programmes: a Residential Care programme catering to orphaned and vulnerable children, including those living with HIV/AIDS, and a community-based initiative in collaboration with Childline India Foundation's National Emergency Helpline (1098), which works towards safeguarding the rights of vulnerable children in need of care and protection.

  • Health and Nutrition Programme

    Through its health and nutrition programmes, CCDT has positively influenced the lives of 19,34,000 individuals. These initiatives aim to connect and empower communities, enabling them to access affordable and available healthcare services. CCDT's programme outreach and strategy include four ongoing programmes: enhancing the health and nutrition of underprivileged tribal communities, implementing an urban health initiative in the high-burden districts of Bhiwandi and Malegaon, providing home-based care for families impacted by HIV/AIDS in 24 wards of Mumbai, and leveraging technology to transform the lives of pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children (0-2 years) in Vasai, Nalasopara, Virar, and Mira-Bhayander.

  • Adolescent / Youth Empowerment Programme

    District

    CCDT implements programmes that aim to empower adolescents and youth from deprived communities, enabling them to become agents of change in society. In line with the goals of the National Skill Development Council (NSDC), CCDT has initiated the Skill-Based Training Programme, fostering private-sector initiatives for economic empowerment. This includes implementing Saksham, a Plan India initiative that focuses on equipping marginalized youth with essential life skills and providing job-oriented vocational training. CCDT also conducts the Adolescent Empowerment Programme, engaging adolescents from marginalized slum clusters in Mumbai.
