Programs

  • Watershed Development

NABARD is in charge of administering and managing the Watershed Development Fund (WDF), an integrated program for the rehabilitation of watersheds for the regeneration of natural resources that was started under a bilateral agreement between the governments of India and the Federal Republic of Germany. In the Tuljapur block of Osmanbad district, Dilasa, acting as a Project Implementing Agency (PIA), is carrying out the capacity building phase as well as the full implementation phase of watershed development projects in the Jalkotwadi, Aliyabad, and Manmodi watersheds. 3318 hectares of land are treated as watersheds under the WDF program.

  • Women Development

Another goal of Dilasa is the advancement of the women's sector and their general development. The most disadvantaged, mistreated, and exploited class in society is made up primarily of rural women. Dilasa believed that, in light of their circumstances, the creation, promotion, and capacity-building of Self Help Groups continue to be useful instruments for the empowerment of women. SGHs that are particularly frugal and credit-worthy help to empower women. Dilasa has spent 25 years working in the SHG movement. Dilasa instilled in the SHGs the practice of saving money in bank accounts during their initial stages.
Following loan approval, women in their villages have begun a range of entrepreneurial ventures, including grocery stores, xerox centres, beauty salons, tailor shops, milk production, saree shops, food processing facilities, picture studios, fabric shops, water purification units, etc.
