It has been working for 13 years to create awa Read morereness and combat discrimination against North-Eastern residents in other parts of the country. The organisation's primary objectives focus on providing aid to the needy, promoting healthcare, improving the quality of life in rural and tribal communities, and fostering cultural exchange and unity among different states and religions. It also offers support to migrant students, advocates for the rights of vulnerable groups, and collaborates with similar institutions to extend assistance to tribal and backward students. It strives to create a more inclusive and harmonious society. The key initiatives of 'My Home India' encompass offering legal aid, healthcare services, and information on Government policies to those in need. It aims to enhance the quality of life in rural and tribal regions, support tribal welfare and rural development, and provide relief during natural calamities. The organisation also actively engages in awareness programmes about North-Eastern culture and hosts events to encourage cultural exchange and sports participation. Furthermore, My Home India plays a vital role in guiding migrant students, promoting human rights, and nurturing a spirit of friendship and fraternity among diverse communities. It is an organisation committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the people it serves.

Karmayogi Awards Programme
My Home India presents two significant awards – the "Karmayogi Award" and the "ONE India Award" – to individuals who have dedicated their lives to fostering Indian nationalism in the North-Eastern region. The Karmayogi Award ceremony is held in Delhi, while the ONE India Award ceremony takes place in Mumbai. Awardees receive a monetary grant of Rs. 1 Lakh and a formal felicitation. Notable recipients of the ONE India Award include Mr. P. T. Zamir, Mr. Madhukar Limaye, Mr. Nabam Atum, Ms. M C. Mary Kom, Ms. Patricia Mukhim, Mr. Bikram Bahadur Jamatia, Ms. Birubala Rabha, and Mr. Aribam Brajkumar Sharma. The Karmayogi Award has been conferred upon respected figures like Shri Deepak Barthakur, Mr. Zoram Begi, Mr. Natwar Bhai Thakkar, Dr. R. Lalthlengliana, Capt. Ashok, and Mrs. Angam Tipnis. These awards recognize and honour those who work tirelessly to promote the spirit of Indian unity in the North-Eastern region.

NESt Fest Programme
My Home India annually organizes the North East Student Festival, NESt. Fest, since 2015. This festival serves as a platform to promote cultural and emotional understanding among fellow citizens throughout India. NESt. Fest's primary mission is to foster harmony and unity among diverse sections of society. It showcases the rich heritage of North East India, including traditional attire and festival dances. The event also aims to bridge the gap between the North East and the rest of India, providing a friendly environment for North-Eastern natives living away from their homeland. NESt. Fest is a celebration of cultural diversity and heritage, promoting a sense of togetherness among Indians.

Fraternity Cup Football Tournament
Annually, My Home India hosts the Fraternity Cup, a football tournament for North Eastern students in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Varanasi, and Pune during February-March. This event brings together various football teams from North Eastern states and local teams, fostering a sense of sportsmanship and promoting a spirit of unity and fraternity among the participating students.

Janarogya Raksha Programme
My Home India operates the Swasthya Seva Sadan initiative, also known as 'Janarogya Raksha.' This project focuses on providing healthcare support to economically disadvantaged individuals through free healthcare camps. To aid poor patients, the organisation offers short-term accommodation for both patients and their caretakers. Initially established in Silchar, Assam, the accommodation project, named 'Swasthya Seva Sadan,' has expanded its presence to Guwahati and Pune. As of June 2019, this initiative has benefitted over 60,000 individuals within just over a year. In addition to direct patient support, 'My Home India' has also extended voluntary assistance to numerous patients in need across various cities in India.

One Bond One India Programme
My Home India conducts the "One Bond One India" initiative annually. This programme aims to foster a sense of national unity among students from various universities. Additionally, the organisation collaborates with the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Study Circle to instill a dedication to the nation and a sense of responsibility towards marginalized communities in the youth.
