Priyadarshini Jankalyan Samiti

The organization Priyadarshini Jankalyan Samiti is registered as a non-government / non-profit organization under the Societies Registration act 21, Read more of 1860. Although, it has been carrying out its activities for the marginalized people and weaker sections of the society since the last 23 years in rural areas of District Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. The society was established with a basic aim of providing vocational, technical, scientific, computer and formal education with social and income generation services to the entire community, especially the children, girls, youth, and women so that they can become self-dependent. In order to achieve these objectives, the society has been training women in tailoring and knitting and other income generating activities. We also give computer training to youth. The organisation has set up a campus for primary and higher secondary education, computer education and women’s self-employment centre. The institutions go by the following names: 1-Saraswati Devi Public School- (LKG to 5th) 2-Pt R. N. Intermediate College- (Class 6th to 12th) 3-Israji Training Institute - (Computer education and skill development). 4-Priyadarshini Jankalyan Samiti Silai Kadhai Vidyalya- (tailoring, cutting, weaving, and embroidery). All above institutes are affiliated to the central/state government boards and they function without any grant. We need better infrastructures for these institutions so that they can function in a better manner.
